The three Qualities of Astrology serve, as well as the elements, to define the nature of signs and the way they view projects and objectives. Signs that are 90º or 180º apart (also known as polarity signs) have the same quality. This quality describes one’s attitude toward life and the way they deal with their projects.
Signs with the same Quality generally do not go very well, despite their similarities. However, those in polarity (180 °) complement each other, and although some differences may arise, most of the time runs well and solid relationships arise from these unions. These signs are characterized by persistence and determination. And while people with cardinal signs begin, those of fixed signs believe and carry on. When working as a team, people of fixed quality signs are those who keep a project in progress and can visualize its end and its results. This view can make them a bit stubborn and inflexible.
In addition, self-confidence is a registered trademark of these natives. They are also very reliable and never forget who once helped them. Pay attention, however, to your rather inflexible and “I know everything” way of dealing with situations. Most of the time or things are as they want, or they are not at all.
Cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn): The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, and the cardinal houses are First, Fourth, Seventh, and Tenth, and if an Astral Map shows a majority of planets in these houses, the Map energy will be predominantly cardinal.
The cardinal signs reflect the beginnings and people who are “initiators.” These natives are great at starting projects, plans, etc., but the completion of these is not frequent. Mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces): The signs of mutable quality are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, and the changeable houses are the Third, Sixth, Ninth, and Twelfth, and if an Astral Map shows a majority of planets in these houses, the Map energy will be predominantly Mutable.
The main characteristics of these natives are those related to mutation, adaptation, and agreement. They are flexible and change their attitude or opinion if necessary. People with this Quality are changeable and versatile and see no difficulty in adaptation, they are the chameleons of the Zodiac. Those who have Changing Quality influence on their Maps love to learn, to know, and are fair and diplomatic. This may be due to the ability to see problems and their solutions quickly.
